Seeing God by Faith Hybrid card

I have never made one of these before, ( I don't do many cards, as they are very exacting) but I was intrigued by
the challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ- and the passage they gave for this challenge seemed to connect at least for me, with the current 12 Days of Christmas challenge at Faith Sisters.
The first verse is:
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; But then face to face: Now I know in part; But then I shall know even as I am known." I Corinthians 13:12I used a transparency for my card front, and inked it to darken the image
and make it cloudy and represent the passage. It is hard to photograph that,
but it shows when the card is in hand. I also was able to use one of my
favorite stamps-- the eye!! :)

The theme for
this week at Faith Sistersis The Beatitudes.
I chose verses 8 &10 of Matthew 5 for my
card:
8: "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." 10:" Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."We have been persecuted the past 4 years, keeping us from
having a home.
( I know, you can't believe it happens here
and may think I am being dramatic.
I understand your response,
but all I can say is that it is the
truth and several Christian
families have lived it.)
And we have waited to see God move,
because in spite of all that has transpired, we still believe.
It has been a challenge to keep our hearts pure of anger, hatred,
bitterness and resentment.
So these challenges are special to me.

I used papers from Hard Rain's Gonna Fall by Scraps of Ellay,
and the image is
one of my earlier layouts.
